Interested in Teaching @ AAC?

Please refer to the Renting to Teach form to organize and lead a class @ AAC.

We highly recommend reviewing the form for AAC Partner Teachers as well, though. It includes helpful information on how to set up and promote a class, workshop, or demo.

If you are interested in leading a free art class or event, please email a proposal to the Educational Program Coordinator at

EducationDirectorAAC@gmail.com. We’ve offered free classroom rent for many free community art classes or art-related events that were organized by a group or individual. We recommend leading a free demo or mini-workshop to new teachers to AAC, as this is a great way to build a potential partnership with Education @ AAC, gain teaching experience, and/or connect with our community.

If you are interested in teaching or volunteering for a youth art class, you will need to complete the form for the Oregon Background Check and give it to the Educational Coordinator, JoAnn Manzone. Contact JoAnn at EducationDirectorAAC@gmail.com for submission to the Oregon State Police.

Teachers at AAC are trusted members of a quality teaching community. We want talented, nurturing educators and artists who are masters of their medium and experienced with leading classes and working with students.

Two ways to teach at AAC:

(1) Rent a Teaching Space and pay AAC for facility rental and advertising

(2) Partner with AAC and share costs/income*

*Subject to availability and scheduling. Likely, you will be referred to the rental form for teachers, linked to above

ALL CLASS INFO MUST BE PROPOSED AT LEAST TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE OF CLASS DATE
